Nili Lotan is looking for an enthusiastic Full-Time Sales Support associate for our Madison and Tribeca flagship locations with fashion retail experience and a passion for our brand. This is a founder-led environment, and the ideal candidate will thrive working closely with a hands on leadership team. The successful candidate will be a brand ambassador who is collaboritive, reliable, flexible, resourceful, and detail oriented.
The Sales Support role is a versatile position that keeps the store running on both sides of the floor. On the client-facing side, they support the store team through the selling ceremony, acting as a brand ambassador who represents Nili Lotan with poise in every client interaction. On the operational side, they support the back of house work that keeps the store organized and business ready, from tracking alterations and dry cleaning to maintaining VM standards. This role requires someone who can move easily between the two and take initiative wherever the store needs support.
Front of House
- Support stylists during client appointments, and assist external stylists with consignments or appointments when needed
- Greet clients as they enter the store and assist with returns and exchanges
- Maintain a strong presence on the selling floor during peak hours, ensuring all clients are met and partnered with an available stylist
- Assist with in-store events
Back of House
- Audit items in and out for alterations and repairs with our local tailor and dry cleaning services
- Maintain the selling floor and stockroom to visual merchandising standards, including go-backs, recovery, and general floor maintenance
- Fill in and maintain cash wrap supplies daily
- Collaborate with the General Manager to ensure proper stock of packaging and supplies is maintained
- Support the selling team with operational tasks to keep the floor filled and tidy
- Provide general administrative support as needed, including answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate parties
- Support Stock Manager and back of house team with back of house organization, processing shipment, transfers, and ordering messenger services
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Poised, flexible, and comfortable representing the brand as a client-facing ambassador
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned to support the business as needed
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude
- High School Degree required; college degree preferred
- Ability to work holidays and weekends as needed to support retail events and demand
- Thrives in a fast paced environment with a sense of urgency
- Retail POS & Microsoft suite experience
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
Compensation: $25/hour plus 1% flat commission.
