In addition to providing crucial assistance during patient care, you'll play a pivotal role in handling paperwork and accurately charting patient information in our advanced electronic medical records system. Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and clean driving record;
- Able to pass a standard background check;
- Proof of Covid 19 Vaccination
- Proven track record in providing outstanding patient care;
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new office softwares
- Ability to prioritize and handle different situations in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Drives daily to scheduled facilities located near your living area (some out of state travel is involved if interested)
- Obtains any missing paperwork from facility prior to doctor examinations
- Prepares patients for examination by using dilation drops and answering any patient questions
- Record medications, diagnosis, demographics and insurance policies for patients being seen on visit date
- Logs patient information for examination
- Assists patient with frame selection and glasses fittings
- Scan and uploads necessary documents into the electronic medical records system
- Testing patients with electroretinograms (ERG) after assisting the optometrist
