Position Summary:
The Commercial Property Manager is responsible for providing all aspects of property management services as needed to the portfolio of managed properties by Vintage Realty Company. The successful candidate would be a proven leader and be highly organized and personable. The candidate should be able to direct the work of and get along well with others, work independently and resolve difficult problems regularly. Must perform multiple complex tasks with ease, excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities/Skills/Duties:
- Works with assigned maintenance staff to oversee day to day maintenance operations.
- Responsible for the physical appearance of each property under the Property Manager’s portfolio of managed properties.
- Preparing and assisting in the review of reporting documents.
- Participates in new business presentations.
- Provides daily property management services for assigned properties.
- Oversees major capitol repairs and construction projects.
- Maintains the value and integrity of assigned properties.
- Serves as the primary contact for the tenants, maintenance crew, vendors and owners of their assigned properties.
- Facilitates regular property inspections.
- Prepares and monitors budgets and related reports.
- Reviews and codes invoices.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and accommodate occasional travel.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in Commercial Property Management.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient with use of computers.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and adequate motor vehicle insurance.
