American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT(R)(CT) certification and at least 1 year of CT experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting required

Associate's degree required

ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certifications required

BLS (AHA) required — must not expire prior to start date

Fluoroscopy certification required for candidates practicing in the state of Colorado

State license required if applicable
-
Proficiency with CT imaging techniques, protocols, and equipment operation
-
Experience with contrast administration protocols and contrast injector operation
-
Proficiency with electronic imaging including image viewing, transfer, and manipulation
-
DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Perform a variety of diagnostic CT procedures using ionizing radiation, including contrast media administration as ordered by a physician and under radiologist or physician supervision

Responsible for proper patient identification, order verification, and patient preparation prior to exams

Review and evaluate images for quality, clarity, and accuracy to ensure all necessary anatomical structures are captured

Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment for patients and staff

Provide patient education regarding exam procedures and contrast administration safety

Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other care providers following procedures
-
Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures performed, and any adverse reactions

Radiation badge required — provided by the supplier

Permanent staff must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
