The City of Carpinteria Aquatics Division is now accepting applicants for Pool Lifeguard positions. This role is well-suited for individuals interested in water safety, public service, and gaining valuable work experience in an aquatic facility.
Position Details
- Hourly Wage: $21.10 – $25.65 per hour
- Minimum Age: 15 years old
- Location: Carpinteria Community Pool
- Status: Part-Time
- Must be available to work shifts during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Tryout & Training Requirements
- Swim Test: 300-yard continuous swim
- Must be available for training
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of patrons in and around the pool
- Prevent accidents through active surveillance
- Respond to emergencies and administer first aid
- Enforce pool rules and facility policies
