Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our kitchen operations, ensuring that high-quality meals are prepared and served in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities
- Assist in meal preparation and cooking according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Ensure all food safety standards are met, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan menus that meet dietary needs and preferences.
- Support catering efforts by preparing and packaging meals for events as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
- Follow all kitchen protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we welcome candidates with a passion for culinary arts.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is highly desirable.
- Experience in meal preparation, menu planning, or catering is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
