Provide support services to students by:
- Linking individuals to eligible government and private assistance programs such as SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, childcare subsidies, utility aid, and housing support.
- Promoting life skills essential for self-sufficiency.
- Referring students to appropriate crisis intervention services.
- Help students overcome obstacles to academic or work performance and support them in completing their coursework.
Collaborate closely with the FSH Response Center to:
- Ensure all student needs are fully addressed
- Identify trends and gaps in available services
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date care management records and case notes for all students served
- Document all relevant student and community engagement activities
Liaise with Jefferson faculty and staff to:
- Provide cohesive student advocacy
- Coordinate support strategies across departments
- Develop partnerships with industries, employers, and educational institutions to: Support and expand career pathway opportunities for students, promote credential-to-degree apprenticeship models, increase regional outreach to apprentices and non-traditional learners.
Maintain current knowledge of community-based and campus-based resources, including:
- Social services (e.g., emergency financial aid, mental health counseling)
- Academic processes (e.g., admissions, registration, financial aid)
- Complete all required FSH professional development trainings and certifications

Minimum Requirements: An associate degree or bachelor's degree in social work,
college student personnel, psychology or a related field, and one-year related
experience or equivalent. The preferred candidate would have previous experience
working in the social services field or experience working for organizations with a
mission that promotes client-centered approaches and wellness.

- Patient persistent, and a visible passion for students and their success.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
