Local Class-A Truck Driver - Home daily
Ready for a local CDL-A opportunity? 3 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience required (training does not count). Earn competitive weekly pay, stay on established local routes, and be home every day with a stable year-round position
Pay & Compensation
- Weekly pay: $1,500–$1,750/week
- Annual pay: $79,000–$91,000/year
- Starting CPM: 60¢-70¢(Increased by 1 CPM annually and max out in 10 years)
- Miles: 2,000–2,500 per week
Home Time
- Home every day after your shift
Orientation
- One day long
- Covers safety procedures, equipment familiarization, drug screening, and skills assessment
- Orientation pay: $300 paid with your first paycheck
- Transportation and hotel accommodations provided
Freight & Routes
- Operate on a dedicated NJ, PA, and NY account hauling 100% no-touch dry commodity freight. Drivers run established lanes across the three-state area, with year-round freight and a defined operating region that provides a steady, consistent workload
Equipment
- 2022 or newer Freightliner Cascadia
- Automatic transmission only - manual restriction accepted
- Assigned truck

Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license required
- Minimum 3 months verifiable tractor trailer experience
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must reside within 50 miles of Edison, NJ
- Basic load securement knowledge
- No major moving violations in the last 12 months
- MVR checked for last 3 years
- Background check for last 10 years
- Must pass hair follicle and urine drug screening
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on cross-country lanes
- Perform pre and post trip inspections daily
- Maintain accurate ELD logs and required paperwork
- Deliver 100% no-touch dry freight safely and on schedule
- Operate automatic tractors with 48–53 foot trailers
- Follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations
