Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service, possess excellent driving skills, and be comfortable handling heavy loads.
Duties
- Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and autom transmission vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items efficiently using a dolly and other equipment as necessary.
- Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the delivery process.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
- Assist with moving items as needed, ensuring proper handling techniques are used to prevent damage.
Skills

- Experience as a courier or delivery driver with knowledge of commercial driving practices.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures for various types of cargo.
- Ability to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS systems.
- Experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles is preferred.
