As an
associate manager of financial reporting on the GAAP Reporting team, you’ll lead, complete, and review the most complex accounting duties in a timely and accurate manner. In this management role, your judgement and decisions will impact many areas of the company. You’ll be the subject matter expert with both breadth and depth of knowledge of accounting concepts, financial reporting rules, industry practices, and company policies and procedures. You’ll lead a team of accountants responsible for debt and equity accounting, corporate accruals, and consolidation.
This is a hybrid role, requiring work from our headquarters in Mayfield Village, OH.
Must-have qualifications-
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field of study (e.g., Finance) and a minimum of six years accounting experience, with at least four years in a specialized area (e.g. reinsurance, investments), financial reporting, or public accounting experience.
Preferred skills-
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Extensive knowledge of and experience with GAAP reporting and accounting/financial tools

Demonstrated leadership skills and people management experience; ability to ensure high caliber work of accounting staff

Excellent communication, public speaking, presentation, and project management skills

Ability to identify and communicate accounting issues to upper-level management in a timely and concise manner
Compensation-
$89,600 - $119,500/year

Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
