This team has an established municipal water and wastewater practice across the Southeast, with a strong backlog in North Carolina. The role is focused on leading electrical scope across active projects, not chasing work or building from zero.
- Pump stations
- Water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Municipal infrastructure projects
- Lead electrical design from concept through construction
- Oversee equipment sizing, power distribution, and system design
- Develop and review one-line diagrams, grounding plans, and area classifications
- Support generator sizing, arc flash considerations, and equipment selection
- Provide QA/QC and technical oversight across projects
- Interface directly with clients and support project delivery
- Support construction phase and field coordination
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience, ideally in water and wastewater
- PE preferred
- Experience leading electrical scope on infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of power distribution, controls, and system integration
- Comfortable operating with autonomy and mentoring junior staff
- Established municipal backlog across North Carolina and the Southeast
- Real ownership of electrical scope, not just review work
- Direct influence on project delivery and technical standards
- Exposure to both electrical and I&C work depending on interest
- Clear path into a lead or group-level role over time
