Project Coordinator - Construction Operations
Join our team as a highly organized Project Coordinator and serve as the central hub for all our new home construction projects. You will be instrumental in the successful execution of our building schedule by managing key logistical and administrative elements. Core responsibilities include coordinating job starts, ensuring all construction plans are current and distributed, assisting with material purchasing and inventory oversight, and maintaining detailed, real-time tracking of every home's status. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-moving, team-oriented construction environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow all written Hewn Custom Homes Processes pertaining to your specific role.
- Responsible for creating job folders with the required documents for each upcoming job start including the job tracker.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the job tracker for each individual home from distribution through the final completion at the direction of Operations Manager.
- Responsible for communicating with all team members to gather all required documents and submitting permits for all starts to meet the goal dates.
- Communicating with all team members of goal dates and tracking completion of required documents or processes throughout the construction cycle.
- Collect subcontractor bids and estimates and compile budget estimates on a job-by-job basis at the direction of the Operations Manager.
- Assist in creating and maintaining accurate and organized pricing databases, subcontractor lists, community spec sheets, and house templates.
- Organize and maintain all necessary construction documents to ensure all information for each home is updated, accurate, and approved throughout the construction process.
- Work with Project Manager to collect and organize invoices, PO’s, VPO’s, and Invoices for approval and payment.
- Communicate with all team members to make sure all project details are relayed, and job status is updated to inform the Project Manager of potential delays or issues in advance of goal dates so that those items can be resolved.
- Assist with organization and other details or projects as directed by the Operations Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
