Job Title: Painter/Prepper
Location: Stockton, CA
Schedule: 7AM-3:30pm Summer Hours are 6am -2:30pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Painter/Prepper to join our team. The Painter/Prepper will be responsible for preparing, priming, and finishing surfaces to ensure high-quality paint application. This role involves working with various tools and materials to sand, clean, grind, and prep metal surfaces prior to painting.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform prepping, priming, and finishing of surfaces.
· Apply and smooth Bondo as needed.
· Sand bare metal to prepare surfaces for painting.
· Clean and grind metal to ensure proper adhesion.
· Mask and paper surfaces for paint application.
· Spray paint and ensure even, professional finishes.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
· Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
Requirements:
· Previous experience in prepping, painting, or related field preferred.
· Ability to stand for long periods of time.
· Strong attention to detail and quality.
· Able to read and speak English to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
· Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs].
· Prolonged standing, bending, and repetitive motions.
