Position Summary
Alliance For LIFE, LLC is seeking qualified Home-Based Caseworkers and Visitation Facilitators to provide court-ordered and referral-based services to youth and families. These positions support clients through structured, goal-oriented services delivered in home-based and community settings.
Independent Contractors are expected to provide services in a professional manner, utilize agency-provided curriculum and service tools, and comply with all applicable Alliance For LIFE, LLC policies and procedures, as well as Department of Child Services (DCS) requirements.
Compensation
- Home-Based Casework: Compensation is based on Independent Subcontractor qualifications and the service type performed, up to $32.00 per hour
- Spanish-speaking providers: Up to $35.00 per hour, based on education and years of relevant experience
- Evening and weekend availability is anticipated based on referral and client scheduling needs
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Direct Service / Field Operations
- Provide direct services to assigned clients in home, community, and other approved service settings
- Support clients in working toward identified referral goals and service objectives
- Deliver skill-building services using agency-supplied evidence-based curriculum and service materials
- Provide transportation related to approved service goals, when applicable
- Attend court hearings with clients, when required by referral or agency direction
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and agency events as scheduled
- Respond to crisis situations, as appropriate to referral type and agency expectations
- Maintain professional communication and working relationships with agency staff, referring agents, and service team members
Documentation and Reporting
- Notify the referring agent and supervisor following each client contact or attempted contact, in accordance with agency standards
- Maintain case records, documentation, and agency paperwork in compliance with required standards
- Complete and submit written service reports within required timelines
- Prepare documentation and reports for the Department of Child Services (DCS)
- Enter and maintain accurate service and case-related information as required
Education Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following education qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, or
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a preferred Human Services field
Examples of preferred Human Services fields may include:
- Social Work
- Psychology
- Sociology
- Human Services
- Counseling
- Criminal Justice
- Family Studies
- Behavioral Sciences
- Education
- (or a closely related field)
Minimum Qualifications (General)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Professional documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality
- Ability to work with youth and families in high-need or high-stress situations
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the assigned service area
- Willingness to work evening and weekend hours as needed

- Classification: Independent Contractor
- Schedule: Variable, based on referrals and client needs
- Hours: Evening and weekend hours are expected for many assignments
Work Environment
Services are delivered in community-based environments and may include in-home visits, community meetings, transportation-related service activities, and court attendance, depending on referral needs.
