Psycle On Wellness is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to provide mental health services to adolescents in a juvenile detention center setting. Immediate full-time and part-time positions available.

The ideal candidate is a licensed behavioral health professional in Maryland with experience in youth focused settings, committed to delivering trauma-informed, ethical, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Supportive Counseling
- Conduct individual counseling sessions weekly
- Conduct weekly psychoeducational groups for youth
Assessment- Perform suicide risk screenings
- Complete psychosocial intake screenings, including the MAYSI-2, within 24 hours of admission
- Monitor youth experiencing suicidal ideation
- Make recommendations upon admission
- Follow up on prior victimization
Administrative- Sign and maintain clinical documentation
- Complete crisis debriefing
- Attend clinical staff meetings as scheduled
Education, Licensure & Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work
- Licensed in the state of Maryland in good standing (LCSW-C, LMSW, LGPC, or LCPC)
- Minimum of 2 years counseling experience
- Experience working with children and adolescents in an education or detention setting preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet-based systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willing to complete a federal and state background check
- Reliable transportation
