Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Bar Lead to oversee daily bar operations in a vibrant hospitality environment. Duties
- Lead and supervise bar staff, including training, mentoring, and scheduling to ensure smooth shift operations
- Oversee food preparation and beverage service, ensuring consistency with quality standards and safety regulations
- Manage inventory control, including stock ordering, storage, and waste reduction to optimize profitability
- Operate POS systems such as Toast and Restaurant 365 for accurate cash handling and order processing
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and food handling procedures across all aspects of bar service
- Coordinate with kitchen management for food production, catering events, and banquet services when applicable
- Monitor customer interactions to deliver exceptional service, handle complaints professionally, and foster guest loyalty
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and beverage crafting within quick service or fast food restaurant environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS for efficient transaction management. Experience with Restaurant 365 a plus.
- Demonstrated supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles
- Excellent team management skills with a focus on staff training & development and interviewing potential team members
- Expertise in inventory control, budgeting, food safety practices, and food industry standards
- Ability to manage shift operations effectively in casual dining or fine dining settings with banquet or catering experience preferred
- Leadership qualities combined with strong customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
