Monday–Friday out of town (Roanoke, VA based)
Hotel stay covered + tax-free per diem for food
$15–18 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will assist the installation team with commercial audio-visual projects to include physically delivering and un-boxing equipment, installing cabling, mounting devices, terminating cabling, and making final equipment hookups.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLITIES:
None.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up materials for installation
Install cable pathways
Pull cable for projects with guidance from Technician/Lead Technician
Assist installation team with projects as directed by the technician, lead technician or project manager
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Basic knowledge of low-voltage systems
Basic Knowledge of hand tools
Ability to use a computer to correspond by email and complete company documents/programs
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record to operate company vehicle preferred
Effective verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to take directions and work within specified deadlines in various work environments

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent
First Aid + CPR Training, or Acquire within 30 days in position
OSHA 10 Certification, or Acquire within 30 days in position
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to frequently move audio/visual equipment overhead weighing up to 50lbs
Ability to work at heights, including ascending/descending a ladder and elevated work platforms to install equipment
Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time
Ability to constantly position self to install equipment, pull cable to include working in confined space
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Commercial Buildings, Schools, University Buildings, State, Local and Federal Government Properties, including non-conditioned indoor environments and outdoor work at times
TRAVEL/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
Travel and hours of work will vary depending on client needs but will typically include M-F with a yearly average of 50% overnight travel expected. Hours will often include overtime during out-of-town work.
