Join a cutting-edge engineering team developing next-generation metrology instrumentation, imaging systems, and measurement technologies. This role supports complex cross-functional programs spanning engineering, instrumentation, prototype development, and global vendor ecosystems.
You will coordinate metrology instrumentation and new technology development, working closely with engineering teams, program managers, technology management, and global suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end project planning, scheduling, tracking, monitoring, and reporting across metrology instrumentation and engineering workstreams
- Coordinate execution of new technology, instrument development, prototype builds, testing, and validation activities
- Drive cross-functional delivery across Engineering, Commercial, Procurement, Operations, and supplier teams
- Track project progress, identify delivery risks, and define and drive appropriate mitigation actions
- Manage external vendors and suppliers, ensuring alignment on scope, schedules, technical deliverables, and quality
- Monitor vendor schedule progress and deliverables across global time zones, escalating issues and driving mitigation actions when needed
- Work closely with program managers, engineering teams, and technology management to maintain alignment on priorities, dependencies, and milestones
- Track open actions, surface blockers, and drive cross-functional deliverables to closure
- Facilitate meetings, documentation, and structured stakeholder updates, including weekly reporting
- Support project governance and control while helping engineering teams unblock issues and maintain program momentum
- Improve project management processes, governance, reporting, and delivery practices across engineering programs
- Motivate and drive teams to deliver against commitments and deadlines
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in engineering or technical project management
- Experience leading multiple concurrent engineering projects with competing priorities
- Strong cross-functional coordination across Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and external vendors
- Experience with project management, planning, and tracking tools
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills in English
- Experience collaborating with global teams and stakeholders across different time zones
- Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and a proactive, self-directed working style
- Ability to independently manage priorities, identify risks, and deliver results within defined program objectives
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments involving new and evolving technologies
Preferred Skills & Background
- BS/MS/PhD in Engineering, such as Optical, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical discipline
- Experience in metrology, optics, imaging systems, instrumentation, or measurement technologies
- Experience supporting new technology and instrument development
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications, participate in technical discussions, and translate technical requirements into structured project plans and deliverables
- Experience driving cross-functional engineering deliverables from planning through development, testing, validation, and completion
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management experience
- Experience managing schedules and technical deliverables with equipment suppliers, contract manufacturers, or other external engineering partners
- Comfortable managing vendor relationships and deliverables across global time zones
Team Leadership Responsibilities
- Oversee team and project deliverables and ensure quality standards
- Support resource planning, scheduling, and workload coordination
- Help teams identify and unblock issues that may impact project execution
- Act as a point of contact for project escalations
- Monitor team and vendor progress and provide regular summary reports
- Ensure continuity through structured planning, documentation, and coverage

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
