Associate Attorney — Employment & Labor Law | Angel City Law (Los Angeles)

Responsibilities:
- Take and defend depositions
- Appear at hearings, conferences, and other court proceedings
- Manage all phases of written discovery, including propounding, responding, and drafting objections
- Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and correspondence
- Develop case strategy and manage matters through litigation
- Maintain direct client contact and support trial preparation alongside the managing attorney
Qualifications:
- Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of California civil procedure
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Strong interpersonal skills and sound professional judgment
- A genuine commitment to advocating for employees in our community
Newer attorneys: employment experience is a plus, not a requirement — we'll train you.
Experienced attorneys: bring your skills and we'll give you the autonomy and cases to match.
Defense attorneys: c'mon over to the right side. We'll take you in, plus no more billable hours.

Compensation: $95,000–$200,000+/year, plus performance bonuses — level set to experience.
