Sportex Safety is looking for a skilled Screen Print Operator to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you will set up, run, and maintain screen print jobs across our apparel and safety product lines, ensuring every order leaves the shop with the quality, accuracy, and turnaround time our customers count on.

- Set up and operate manual and/or automatic screen printing equipment.

Prepare screens, inks, garments, and job materials for production runs.

Review work orders for artwork placement, ink colors, garment type, and quantity.

Print apparel and promotional items to customer specifications.

Check prints throughout production for quality, registration, color accuracy, and consistency.

Troubleshoot common printing issues, including registration, ink coverage, curing, and garment defects

Reclaim screens, mix inks, and assist with general shop duties as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area

Meet production deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous screen printing experience preferred
- Experience with automatic presses, manual presses, dryers, exposure units, and screen prep is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and follow work orders accurately
- Basic understanding of inks, mesh counts, registration, and curing
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes of apparel as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and help in other areas of production when needed

Tuesday 11am – 7:30pm
Wednesday 11am – 7:30pm
Thursday 11am – 7:30pm
Friday 10am- 6:30pm
Saturday 7am-3:30pm
