Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly.
- Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible serving in compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties like cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service or catering events, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages during banquets or special functions.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple tables or bar stations without compromising quality or speed.
- Assist in training new team members on beverage preparation, POS operation, and customer service protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol serving regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in fast-paced environments.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and tip management.
- Experience with food industry standards including food handling, catering support, and banquet service is advantageous.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous retail math or cash handling experience is beneficial for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or hospitality industry best practices can enhance your contribution to our team.
