Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential or commercial spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance tasks that contribute to a welcoming and hygienic environment. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Maintain floor care routines including carpet cleaning, polishing hard floors, and applying protective treatments
- Manage janitorial tasks like waste disposal, restocking supplies, and ensuring sanitation protocols are followed
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, such as sweeping entryways or maintaining outdoor furniture and walkways
- Use manual handling techniques to lift heavy furniture or equipment safely during cleaning or rearrangement tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleanliness of their space
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles
- Strong knowledge of sanitation standards and cleaning techniques across various surfaces and materials
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving furniture or equipment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts
- Experience with outdoor work environments is a plus
- Familiarity with floor care procedures such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Basic cooking skills are desirable for roles involving meal preparation or kitchen upkeep
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
