Overview
Be a part of the Future
Commercial cleaning robots are about to become standard equipment in every large facility in the country.
My Go-To Source is an authorized CenoBots dealer cenobots.mygotosource.com Autonomous floor scrubbers, industrial sweepers, and handheld units that let a facility clean more square footage with the staff it already can't find. Schools, warehouses, manufacturers, hospitals, convenience-store chains — every one of them is short-staffed on custodial labor and paying more every year for less coverage. The machine solves that in a way you can prove in twenty minutes on their own floor.
This is a full-ownership role. You sell the machine, you demo it, you deploy it in the building, and you keep it running. You are the reason the customer succeeds — not a rep who hands off to a service department and disappears.
Why this is different
The product demos itself. You don't pitch a spec sheet. You roll a machine onto their floor, run it, and let them watch. Our demo units have already closed a high school after a cold walk-in, and CenoBots machines are running at Gillette Stadium and Logan Airport.
There's a paid-trial close that removes the risk. Prospects who hesitate on a capital purchase will say yes to a one-month paid trial. You put a machine in the building, it proves itself, and the purchase becomes obvious.
You own the customer end to end — and that's why the money works. You don't hand the account off after the PO. You deploy the machine, map the floor, train their custodial staff, and handle the service visits. That's what makes you the person that building calls for the next machine, the consumables, and the referral to their sister site.
You're not doing this alone. You'll ride with our CenoBots factory sales lead — someone with a deep New England facilities network — and have our warehouse, admin, and factory technical support behind every order.
You'd be selling for a veteran-owned company that's actually growing.
What you'll actually do
Find and win the business
· Cold-call and cold-walk into facilities across New England — schools, warehouses, manufacturers, private businesses, multi-site chains
· Register and protect accounts so the year-long exclusivity clock starts working for you
· Sell paid trials as the bridge to a purchase, then convert them
· Build and own a pipeline from first knock to signed PO
Demo the machines
· Load demo units in your van and run on-site demonstrations 1–2 days a week
· Set up and run the machine on the customer's actual floor — that's the pitch
· Place trial units, check in through the trial, and bring back the ROI numbers that close the deal
Deploy what you sell
· Deliver and commission new units at the customer site
· Map the facility's floor plan into the robot and program cleaning routes
· Train the customer's custodial team so they're confident running it without you
· Get the customer to a working, adopted machine — not just a delivered one
Keep it running
· Handle routine maintenance and preventive service on units in your territory
· Troubleshoot on site, coordinate parts and warranty claims with the factory, and escalate what needs a specialist
· Be the customer's first call when something goes wrong
Grow the account
· Expand into the rest of our catalog — janitorial supplies and consumables.
· Work veteran and VA accounts alongside our owner, who is a service-disabled veteran and opens those doors personally
Who we're looking for
You do not need to have sold robots. Nobody has. We'll get you factory-trained on the equipment. Here's what actually matters:
· You are genuinely good at cold calling and walking in the door. This is the core of the role, not an occasional chore. If knocking cold drains you, this seat will be miserable and we'd rather both find that out now.
· You've carried a number and hit it — 2+ years in B2B field sales, ideally something physical: equipment, facilities, industrial, jan-san, building services, or capital goods.
· You're genuinely mechanically inclined. You'll deploy and service these machines, not just sell them. You should be comfortable opening a panel, swapping a part, reading an error code, and getting a piece of equipment working again while a customer watches.
· You can teach. A machine that a custodial crew won't use is a machine that comes back. You need to train a shift of people who may be skeptical of the robot — and win them over.
· You're self-directed. You'll be in the field, not in an office. We'll measure demos run, deals closed, and machines running happily — not hours logged.
· You can handle the physical side — loading and unloading demo units, moving equipment in and out of buildings.
· Valid driver's license and a clean record — you'll be driving a company van with equipment in it.
· You want to build something. The person who takes this job gets to define how robotics sales works in this region.
Compensation and what you get
· Base salary:
· Commission on every machine you place — uncapped.
· Paid factory training on the full CenoBots line — you'll be one of a handful of people in the country certified to deploy and service these machines, and that certification is yours to keep.
· Company van, provided — equipped for demo and service units, plus fuel and tolls.
· Health, dental, and PTO
· Territory protection — accounts you register are yours to close.
· A direct line to the owners. We're a small company. Decisions get made the same week, not next quarter.
How to apply
Send a resume and a short note to [email protected] Skip the cover letter. Instead, tell us about one deal you closed that you had no business closing, and how you got in the door.
We move fast. If it's a fit, you'll hear back within a few days and be running demos in the field within your first two weeks.
