Brown Dog Inn is a boutique dog boarding and enrichment facility dedicated to providing exceptional care in a calm, nature-inspired environment. We use Fear Free® handling techniques and a behavior-led approach to create a safe and enriching experience for every dog in our care.
We’re looking for a kind, dependable, and hardworking team member who is passionate about animal care and enjoys being part of a close-knit team. Professional dog experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person.
Your day may include:
- Supervising dog playgroups and enrichment activities
- Hiking and walking dogs on leash
- Feeding meals and administering medications
- Monitoring behavior and documenting observations
- Keeping our facility clean, safe, and organized
- Working alongside an amazing team to provide outstanding care
What we’re looking for:
- Reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Able to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude
- A genuine love for dogs and their wellbeing

Application Question(s):
- This position involves a flexible schedule, with shifts that may include 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, and 11:00 AM–8:00 PM. Would you be comfortable with this range of shifts?
- This position requires weekend availability, as well as holidays. The schedule would be 5 days a week (40hrs). Are you comfortable with that schedule?
Experience:
- Professional Dog: 1 year (Preferred)
- Personal Dog: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
