Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong knowledge of IEP writing and compliance
- Comfortable supervising and mentoring an SLPA in a school environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Able to adapt to changing student and program needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language assessments, therapy, and direct services to students
- Supervise and support a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), providing guidance and feedback
- Develop, write, and update IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress, adjust interventions as needed, and participate in case management meetings
- Partner with teachers, families, and other professionals to foster academic achievement and communication skills
