*Overview*
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to assist in providing top-notch veterinary services.
*Duties*
- Assist veterinarians in medical procedures and surgeries
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
- Monitor and care for hospitalized animals
*Experience*
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology
- Knowledge of animal husbandry and pet care
- Experience with animal restraint and catheterization
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures
- Experience with animal positioning of Radiographs
-Idexx Cornerstone Program experience preferred
- Veterinary technician certification ,suggested, but not required
