We are looking for a driven and experienced Solar Sales Manager to lead our sales team to new heights and help us expand our impact.
The Role
As the Solar Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind our sales team's success. You will be responsible for building, leading, and mentoring a high-performing group of solar sales representatives. Working closely with the Director of Sales and cross-functional teams, you will ensure our customers receive an exceptional experience from the initial pitch through project installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and develop a team of solar sales representatives to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Recruitment & Training: Recruit, onboard, and comprehensively train new sales team members to support our ongoing growth objectives.
- Performance Management: Monitor daily sales performance, pipeline activity, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Provide accurate and regular reporting to the Director of Sales.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct appointment reviews, facilitate impactful sales meetings, and perform regular performance reviews to improve team closing rates and the overall customer experience.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with operations, permitting, and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from the point of sale to project completion.
- Strategic Growth: Identify emerging market opportunities and implement targeted strategies to increase market share and drive revenue generation.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure strict adherence to company sales processes, industry compliance standards, and ethical selling practices at all times.
- Culture Building: Foster a positive, high-performance sales culture that prioritizes accountability, professionalism, and ultimate customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Previous experience in the solar or renewable energy industry is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding team sales quotas.
- Strong understanding of sales pipelines, CRM software, and KPI tracking.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate a team and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Pay: $60,722.02 - $81,944.80 per year
