SCHEDULE
MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Greet residents and guests warmly, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring accuracy in orders and presentation
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and portioning to support the culinary team when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by bussing tables, cleaning surfaces, and resetting tables promptly
- Follow food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards in all food handling activities
- Support dietary department staff by assisting with meal delivery, dietary accommodations, and special requests
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy meal periods while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with residents and team members
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices in kitchen and dining environments.
