Line Cook — Bray's Hamburgers
Bray's Hamburgers is looking for dependable, hardworking Line Cooks to join our team. Since 1950, Bray's has built its reputation on serving quality food quickly and consistently. We're looking for team members who can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining our standards for quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
As a Line Cook at Bray's, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items accurately and efficiently while working as part of the kitchen team. This is a hands-on position where speed, consistency, teamwork, and reliability are important.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Bray's menu items according to our standards and procedures
- Operate the grill, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely
- Keep up with orders during busy rush periods
- Maintain consistent food quality and portioning
- Set up and stock your station before and during your shift
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures
- Communicate with other cooks, cashiers, and servers to keep orders moving
- Assist with food preparation, restocking, and cleaning as needed
- Follow opening, shift-change, and closing procedures
- Help minimize food waste and use ingredients properly
- Work as part of the team to provide customers with fast, accurate orders
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working around grills, fryers, and other commercial kitchen equipment
- Able to follow recipes, portioning standards, and instructions
- Strong attention to accuracy and consistency
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willing to clean and maintain the kitchen—not just cook
- Restaurant or line-cook experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and/or late-night shifts is a plus

Pay: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour
