Seeking a skilled Fitter in Terrell, TX. This role is focused on fitting — not welding, but requires a strong welding foundation and the ability to interpret and assemble components accurately from blueprints. This position is slightly more advanced than a standard welder role.

Key Responsibilities
- Fit and assemble metal components according to blueprints and specifications
- Measure, align, and position materials with precision
- Use hand tools, grinders, and layout tools effectively
- Ensure proper fit-up for welders and final assembly
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
First Day Expectations / Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
- Pass MIG Weld Test
- 1G & 2G Unlimited
- Visual + Bend Test
- Running .052 MIG wire with 90/50 gas mix (hot process)
- Demonstrate core skills:
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Read a tape measure accurately
- Convert decimals to fractions
- Operate hand tools and grinders
- Have prior fitting experience
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a fitter in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work overtime as needed
