Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook menu items with efficiency, accuracy, and consistency, following established recipes and standards.
* Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes and seasonal specials that delight our guests.
* Handle food safety by adhering to proper food handling, hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times.
* Support food presentation efforts to ensure each plate is visually appealing and meets quality benchmarks.
* Maintain cleanliness of work stations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas to promote a safe and organized environment.
* Collaborate with team members during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders.
* Contribute to catering events and specials function by preparing large quantities of food with precision and care.
Experience:
* Previous experience in a dietary dietary department or dietary aide role is desirable, demonstrating familiarity with specialized meal prep.
* Proven background in restaurant or food service environments, showcasing strong kitchen skills such as knife handleing, cooking techniques, and meal assembly.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures is essential for maintaining health standards.
* Experience with menu planning, food industry operations or culinary arts will be considered an asset.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
