ABOUT THE ROLE: As an ESP (Electrical Submersible Pump) Cable and Capillary Spooler, you will be responsible for safely spooling, banding, and handling ESP cable and capillary systems in support of field operations. This role works closely with Field Service Technicians during ESP installations and retrievals at customer well sites throughout North Dakota's Bakken region. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and capable of working independently in challenging oilfield conditions while maintaining effective communication and the flexibility to work extended hours as operational demands require.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support ESP installations and pull operations. · Travel daily to customer well sites in a company-issued service truck. · Spool electrical cable onto reels during ESP installation and retrieval operations. · Band or clamp electrical cable to production tubing during downhole equipment installations. · Assist Field Service Technicians with ESP installations, pulls, and other well servicing activities. · Collect, document, and report test and inspection data accurately to support customer recommendations. · Perform daily pre- and post-job inspections and maintain the cable service truck, trailer, and associated equipment. · Complete daily timesheets, job reports, and all required field documentation accurately and on time. · Adhere to all company safety policies, environmental regulations, and spill prevention requirements.
REQUIREMENTS: · 2+ years of experience in the ESP cable spooling industry preferred. · Clean driving record preferred, with no significant violations within the past two years. · Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in the safe use of hand tools. · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work extended hours, and perform duties in demanding outdoor oilfield environments. · Working knowledge of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and the ability to effectively communicate safety requirements and job expectations to onsite personnel.

Pay: $40.00 - $58.00 per hour
