Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain hygiene standards
- Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Care for floors using appropriate techniques such as carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and buffing to ensure they remain pristine and well-maintained
- Maintain high levels of sanitation by disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for all
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work or hotel housekeeping management
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and janitorial procedures
- Ability to perform laundry tasks efficiently with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Familiarity with cooking-related tasks is a plus for assisting with light meal prep or kitchen sanitation when needed
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
