We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) nursing to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of perioperative care, sterile techniques, and advanced patient assessment skills. As an RN in the OR, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety, coordinating surgical procedures, and providing expert nursing care before, during, and after surgeries.

- 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM + On-Call (7:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
- 9:30 AM – 10:00 PM
- 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM + On-Call (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Call Requirement: Estimated 70–90 hours every 6 weeks
- Weekend/Holiday Call:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years (3 years preferred)
- Surgical Experience: Must have experience with procedures outlined in the unit description
- Weekend Requirement: As required
- First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
- Certifications Required:
- BCLS (Required)
- ACLS (Preferred)
- On-Call: Required
- Block Scheduling: At manager's discretion
- Pending License: Not accepted
- RTO: Must be submitted with the initial submission
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
The main OR has 6 surgical suites. One suite is dedicated to open hearts. The other 5 surgical suites are used for all other cases: ENT, General, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics (General, GYN, Urology - Da Vinci Xi), Spine, Total Joints, Urology, and Vascular. The robot lives in OR 5.
The outpatient surgery center has 3 surgical suites. The main cases seen here are: ENT, General, GYN, Ophthalmology, Plastic, Podiatry and Urology.
