Responsibilities
Assist experienced mechanics with performing routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Support the team in vehicle inspections, ensuring safety standards and quality control are met. Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic repairs and maintenance procedures under supervision. Help with tire service, wheel alignments, and brake inspections to ensure vehicles are road-ready. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Learn to diagnose common automotive issues using diagnostic equipment and techniques. Provide excellent customer service by explaining basic services performed and answering customer questions professionally.
Requirements
A strong interest in automotive repair and mechanical systems; dealership experience is a plus but not required. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, tire service, and fluid checks. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostics is desirable. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude toward learning and teamwork. Prior mechanic or service technician experience is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
