In this energetic role, you will be the friendly face guiding borrowers through the mortgage process, leveraging your expertise in financial sales and customer service to deliver tailored loan solutions. Your proactive approach will drive new business, foster lasting relationships with realtors, homebuilders, insurance companies, and financial representatives, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Duties
- Actively engage with prospective clients to understand their financial goals and explain available mortgage options.
- Originate mortgage loans by assessing borrower eligibility through credit analysis, income verification, and debt-to-income calculations.
- Collaborate with underwriters and loan processors to ensure accurate and timely loan approval processes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all loan applications, contracts, and related correspondence in accordance with banking and mortgage servicing standards.
- Conduct detailed credit analysis and basic math calculations to determine appropriate loan structures for each borrower.
- Diligently notifies member of loan denials in a clear precise manner.
- Completes lending operations in accordance with established company policies and legal requirements. Maintains thorough knowledge of secondary market approval guidelines and trends in market.
- Schedule closings with title companies.
Skills
- Proven experience (4-5 years) in related loan experience and roles with strong customer service orientation.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for clients while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of all documents and information.
- Familiarity with title reports, insurance, and appraisals.
Pay: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour
