Duties
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver goods across designated routes
- Load and unload packages using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary
- Ensure accurate delivery by verifying orders against delivery manifests and customer signatures
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Follow planned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance
- Document delivery activities accurately, including mileage, delivery times, and any incidents during transit
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Prior delivery driver experience or courier background is highly desirable
- Experience operating a box truck, forklift, or pallet jack
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Knowledge of route driving, navigation tools, and traffic laws
- Comfortable with physical activity including moving, lifting, and loading cargo as needed
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards
