Kala Studio is a growing beauty studio in Westlake Village seeking an experienced Licensed Esthetician or Cosmetologist with strong skills in brows, threading, waxing, and lash lift services.
Due to increasing client demand, we are looking for a reliable beauty professional interested in growing with our studio and helping support our expanding clientele.
This position begins as a part-time role and offers opportunities for additional hours and future full-time employment as the business continues to grow.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Eyebrow Threading
- Brow Shaping & Design
- Facial Waxing & Hair Removal Services
- Lash Lift & Tint Services
- Brow Lamination Services
- Deliver exceptional client experiences
- Maintain sanitation and professional service standards
- Build long-term client relationships and encourage rebooking
- Support daily studio operations and maintain a clean, professional environment
- Assist with basic front desk and client checkout responsibilities when needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active California Esthetician or Cosmetology License
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on beauty industry experience required
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- Strong threading and brow shaping skills
- Experience performing Lash Lift and Lash Lift & Tint services
- Brow Lamination experience preferred
- Lash Extension experience is a plus but not required
- Portfolio, Instagram, before-and-after photos, or client reviews preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Comfortable working in a collaborative studio environment
- Willing to assist with daily studio operations and client support as needed
COMPENSATION
- Starting at $17.00 per hour during introductory period
- 100% of tips
- Performance and compensation review after 90 days based on performance, reliability, service quality, and client retention
- Additional earning opportunities as responsibilities, client retention, and service volume grow
