CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Server is the human bridge between the kitchen and the heart of the guest. You translate the chef’s artistry into an experience the guest understands, feels, and remembers. Every interaction is an opportunity to create Kando — a moment of genuine emotional impact that outlasts the meal.
- Learn the name, mood, and pacing preference of every guest at your station within the first 10 minutes.
- Introduce every course with brief, confident, genuine context — not a recitation.
- Anticipate every need — water, pacing, explanation — before the guest forms the thought.
- Create at least one genuine moment of human connection per table, per service.
- Execute beverage service with precision: confirm preferences, serve correctly, never overpour.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen, Captain, and Barback throughout service.
- Perform all side work, setup, and breakdown tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior fine dining or luxury service experience preferred; will train the right candidate.
- Genuine interest in Japanese cuisine and culture.
- Clear, graceful verbal communication.
- Ability to perform calmly under pressure during high-volume service.Valid Food Handler Card

Schedule Expectations
- Evening and weekend availability required. Shifts typically 4–8 hours.
