Position Summary:
This position is responsible for and/or has authority to work with the appropriate outside companies to complete the functions of the position.
Responsibilities:
· Welcomes visitors at facility entrance; distributes visitor’s badge
· Answers phones and directs callers to appropriate staff members
· Support hourly and salaried manpower planning and management.
· Ensures thorough familiarity with policies and procedures relating to Standards of Business Conduct and trains and motivates subordinates in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such policies and procedures
· Responsible for preparation and processing of all employment requisitions, processing new hires, promotions, terminations, department changes and shift adjustments
· Maintains Human Resources information systems and develops reports to aid finance in tracking and reporting various employee movements or status, performance evaluations, and benefit costs, etc.
· Supports department/plant self-management work teams, serving on various task teams
· Time and Attendance, Vacation Accruals, Human Resource Training Documentation and other additional miscellaneous duties such as: the service award program, monthly personnel meetings, various reports, i.e. monthly manpower, training records for all employees, annual conflict of interest/standards of business conduct
· IATF Awareness
Qualifications:
- Degree and/or Human Resource Certification
- Minimum 3 years of human resources experience
- Automotive and/or Manufacturing experience required
- Ability to assess, create, and implement innovative solutions to increase engagement, retention, and development of employees
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to assess situations and make judgments based on experience
- Ability to work in changing environment’s see-through complexity and promote an inclusive/diverse workforce
- Ability to build high trust relationships
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced environment, and to manage multiple projects with flexibility and optimism
