Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Rastelli’s is looking to hire an Inventory Control Specialist to join our growing team in Mt Royal, New Jersey.
Position Summary:
The Inventory Control specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring inventory transactions, investigating discrepancies, and supporting inventory accuracy throughout the facility. This role works closely with Production, Receiving, Shipping, and Production Data Entry teams to ensure inventory
transactions are accurate and timely. The Inventory Control specialist will support cycle count programs, returns processing, inventory adjustments, and inventory reporting while maintaining organization across frozen, chilled, and dry storage areas.
Key Responsibilities:
· Track inventory movements and stock changes throughout the facility.
· Perform cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy and proper product locations.
· Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes.
· Process and track product returns.
· Communicate with outside vendors to coordinate and schedule returns.
· Maintain designated returns areas, including frozen, chilled, and dry storage locations.
· Maintain damage and donation inventory areas in a clean and organized manner.
· Process and document inventory adjustments within the inventory management system.
· Enter finished goods inventory into the system accurately and timely.
· Maintain inventory records, reports, and supporting documentation.
· Collaborate with Production, Receiving, Shipping, and Inventory teams to ensure accurate inventory transactions.
· Collaborate with the Inventory control team for insights that may impact needs.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
· Assist with audits, physical inventories, and other inventory control activities as needed.
Required Collaboration
This position works closely with Production, Receiving, Shipping, Production Data Entry, Quality Assurance, and external vendors to ensure inventory accuracy, proper stock rotation, timely returns processing, and accurate system transactions.
Recommended Qualifications:
· Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and WMS systems preferred.
· Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
· Ability to investigate discrepancies and follow issues through resolution.
· Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with vendors and internal departments.
· Flexibility to work overtime as needed based on business and operational requirements.
· Flexibility to work in temperature-controlled environments, including freezer, chilled, and dry storage areas.
· Ability to navigate warehouse environments safely and efficiently.
· Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as required.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
· Dependable attendance and ability to work the scheduled shift of 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based with regular interaction across departments and occasional visits to production areas as needed.
This is a full time non-exempt position
Pay Range $19.50 - $20.50 per hour
