Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, primarily daytime hours (Friday/Saturday off)
Locations: Kings Point, NY is the primary location, with occasional support in NYC apartments.

Overview
A private family seeks an experienced and hands-on Property / Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of their Long Island estate and NYC apartments. This role requires strong technical knowledge, supervisory skills, and the ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively. The Property / Facilities Manager will work closely with the Estate Manager, vendors, and household staff to ensure all properties are maintained to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the houseman team and oversee daily upkeep, preventive maintenance, and repairs across residences
- Manage property systems, including BMS, HVAC, AV, Crestron, pools, fountains, and security systems
- Coordinate and oversee vendors, contractors, and service providers; track COIs and negotiate competitive pricing
- Perform minor carpentry, painting, irrigation, and HVAC maintenance as needed
- Maintain exterior grounds, including seasonal tasks (power washing, leaf blowing, pool/fountain care, winterization, outdoor furniture)
- Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts, supplies, and equipment
- Manage tools, vehicles, and luxury car upkeep (fueling, charging, cleaning)
- Oversee renovation projects and special events preparations
- Track maintenance schedules, report issues, and submit invoices for approval
- Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols; act as the first point of contact for contractors and deliveries
- Maintain discretion and uphold family privacy at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of facilities, property, or estate management experience
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, AV, and building systems
- Proven supervisory and vendor management experience
- Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills
- Flexible, service-oriented, and discreet
- Ability to commute to Long Island and NYC
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid US Work Authorization
- Excellent professional references from previous employers
