Job description: ANASEC, Inc. is seeking a Personnel Security Specialist Adjudicator to work as a Background Investigations Adjudicator in support of a U.S. Government Law Enforcement Agency in Washington, DC as part of the agency’s personnel security division. The selected individual will assess the employment suitability of applicants based on the agency’s Suitability Standards and the U.S. Government Adjudicative Guidelines and Suitability Standards.
Requirements: Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) months specialized experience in adjudications to include; in-depth knowledge of investigative requirements for the performance and adjudication of BIs, experience in reviewing and evaluating Reports of Investigations (ROIs) on applicant’s, contractors and employees, making security and suitability determinations within the limits of the agency delegated authority, preparing written evaluations and statements of issues, proficient writing skills, proficient in keyboard skill and utilization of computers in a Windows environment. Candidates must have successfully completed PSD approved Suitability Adjudications Training, as well as the Basic and Advance Adjudications Training Course and have experience with preparing LOIs, NOPAs, and completing AWS’s.
Candidates must have experience with eAPP, NBIS, DISS, and PIPS and possess a security clearance with a T5 Investigation, T5R, and be entered into Continuous Evaluation or Continuous Vetting.
