Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, ensuring smooth shift transitions, and maintaining high service standards opening or closing
- Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance team performance and ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring quality control and consistency across all menu items
- Utilize POS systems such as Sams POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely stock replenishment
- Supervise kitchen operations and FOH operations, including food production,
- Conduct regular staff interviews, performance evaluations, and manage scheduling to optimize staffing efficiency
- Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings
- Enforce health and safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation standards, and workplace safety
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food service management and hospitality management
- Demonstrated supervising experience with team leadership skills in a restaurant or culinary environment
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety management practices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Experience with culinary operations including food preparation, cooking techniques, kitchen management, and food production processes
- Previous assistant manager experience preferred; hospitality or hotel experience is a plus
- Ability to train staff effectively on food handling procedures, safety standards, and operational protocols
