Duties
- Lead and supervise landscaping crews on diverse outdoor projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools to maintain client properties.
- Drive company vehicles safely to transport crew members, equipment, and materials between job sites.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, lawn care, irrigation management, and hardscape installation.
- Identify plants and horticultural elements to ensure proper care and maintenance of landscapes.
- Oversee irrigation systems installation, repair, and management to ensure optimal watering schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers to execute construction projects effectively while managing crew assignments and timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or related outdoor work.
- Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in landscaping or groundskeeping roles.
- Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, and landscape design principles.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles required.
- Legally eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
- Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crew members and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating tasks and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy equipment as needed.
