While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
Five or more years of professional experience in student organization advising, including oversight of student organization governance, policy development, and high-risk event management.
Demonstrated experience in leadership program development.
Demonstrated experience navigating complex institutional policies, including student travel, contract review, and campus safety protocols.
Minimum of two years of direct professional staff supervision, with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop mid-level professionals.
Experience working with student organization conduct.
Demonstrated experience with program assessment cycle.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong organizational skills .
Ability to communicate effectively with variety constituents (faculty, staff, and students).
Experience with grant writing, fundraising, sponsorships, or revenue generation.
Understanding of and support for the values and perspectives of a Catholic and Marianist educational environment.
Ability to promote inclusive excellence in the workplace.
