Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts (CSLA) is a K-12 magnet school. We are a Nationally Accredited Paideia school and this philosophy permeates every classroom and every lesson daily. This 5th grade position will teach both Science and Social Studies.
Academics are the priority at CSLA, but it is important for our students who come from all parts of our county to connect through additional activities. Applicants for our teaching positions must be willing to support students beyond the academic offerings. This includes clubs and/or athletics.
Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess effective instruction aligned to Tennessee state standards

Design engaging lessons with clear objectives and measurable outcomes

Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners

Collaborate regularly with colleagues and support staff

Build strong, respectful relationships with students and families

Create a well-managed, structured classroom environment

Participate in ongoing professional development and reflection

Qualifications
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required

Valid Tennessee teaching license in Elementary Education (K-5) OR current enrollment in an accredited teacher preparation program
Compensation & Additional Info:
- based on education and experience – starting at $50,000.00

Eligible positions may qualify for additional pay under the Differentiated Compensation Plan
