Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to ensure smooth flow of service and guest satisfaction
- Wash dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment promptly while adhering to food safety standards
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling supplies, and supporting food delivery when needed
- Maintain cleanliness in all food prep and dining areas, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks and ensure proper disposal of waste
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely service and uphold high standards of hospitality
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
- Strong cleaning skills with an eye for detail to maintain cleanliness standards throughout the shift
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team and assist guests courteously
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during busy service hours
- Knowledge of restaurant operations or hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- A positive attitude with a willingness to support team members in all aspects of restaurant service
