Job Description - Position Overview
This is an exciting, demanding, and highly responsible position. The Estimating and Sales Representative must be professional in personal and business presentation. Shall possess written and oral communication skills enabling a predictable outcome with all stakeholders (clients, adjusters, subs and NWR staff). The Estimator must have the ability to work with all members of the NWR Team, customers and insurance personnel in a spirit of harmony. The Estimator must be highly detailed, impeccably organized and flexible in days and hours worked. The Estimator may be required to assume duties as needed.
Essential Job Functions – Estimating and Sales Representative· Maintain Profit Consistent With Company Goals - Min of 35% Gross Profit for Construction projects
· Mitigation Billing and Preliminary estimating
o Competency with mitigation reporting and estimating will be required
o Must possess ability to walk customer through emergency services and mitigation expectations
o Must possess working knowledge of contents and pack out services
o Must write estimates and bills in accordance with actual work performed as outlined in dry logs and field documentation
o Must write estimates and bills in accordance with customer requirements
· POS (point of sale) – Must know the language in the NWR Work Authorization and will be expected to retrieve a signed WA on new projects.
o Pending projects must be followed up on at least 1x per week and pushed forward towards signed business
o Must take ownership of the point of sale, and will be accountable for conversion rates and sales
o Must find a way to push estimate approvals forward and get in front of necessary decision makers
o Must confidently articulate scope and contract expectations to customer and stakeholders
· All money owed should be collected within 30 days from a project's completion
o Will work with NWR’s AR Specialist and the PM to ensure prompt payment
o Will work with the PM and NWR’s AR Specialist to ensure Final Accountings are completed within 2 weeks of receiving the Certificate of Satisfaction
o Supplements will be tracked and processed throughout the job
· CRM Documentation
o Every customer interaction must be documented in DASH
o All contracts and documents need to be included in DASH
· File Management shall receive regular attention (at least 2x's/ week)
o All necessary documentation shall be uploaded to the DASH job file within 1 business day of receipt. (i.e., signed WA, All Estimate versions will be uploaded to the job file and properly labeled. Remodel Contracts, Change Orders, labeled and dated job photos, etc.)
· Estimating and Sales Expectations
o AI Estimating software, Rebuild, is required to be utilized on every project
o New projects must be called on within an hour of receipt. Emergencies to be called within 5min from receipt. Estimates must be uploaded within 1 business day or within 24 hours to meet certain customer SLA’s
o Program notes and documents shall be updated no less than 1x's per week while navigating through the point of sale.
o Estimate uploads must occur within the time frames outlined by POMS (CC), Lionsbridge, Alacrity and Sedgwick/ Vericlaim.
o POMS scores (Contractor Connection) must be managed and maintained according to Contractor Connection guidelines.
o Always work the estimate to get the most you can…..Commercial Reality vs. Perceived Reality
(35% vs. 50%)
o Staying up to date with all estimating platforms will be a must.
· Estimator – PM – AR/ Accounting – Admin Partnership
o The Estimating and Sales Representative must maintain a regular presence in the office.
o Responding to emails and text messages within three hours of receipt will be expected. (not only with PMs and AR staff but with customers as well)
o The Estimating and Sales Representative is ultimately responsible for ensuring timely estimate and supplement approval. It will be the their responsibility to follow up to ensure prompt approval.
o Prioritization of the work load and Communication will be critical.
o Adhering to NWR’s “Job Assignment Process” will be expected.
· Business Development
o Cultivating and developing Adjuster, Property Management and other relevant relationships will be a expected.
o Estimating and Sales Representative will be expected to develop their own portfolio of business
o Willingness to work with the Mit Team and Company Marketing reps to participate in presentations and events.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
