Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flexo-Folder Gluer/Printer-Slotter Operator/Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating flexo-folder gluer/printer-slotter presses, ensuring high-quality production standards while adhering to safety protocols. This role requires a strong understanding of prepress processes, machining, and packaging, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate flexo-folder gluer/printer-slotter press according to job specifications.
- Monitor the production and printing process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, including quantities produced and any issues encountered.
- Keep a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Operate forklifts as needed for material handling within the production area.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in prepress process and understanding of print production workflows.
- Strong machining skills with experience in operating various types of printing equipment.
- Knowledge of packaging processes and materials used in flexo-folder gluer/printer-slotter printing.
- Forklift certification or experience operating forklift is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
